Recently, our CEO, Marcelo, had a firsthand look at the healthcare system when his friend Matias was hospitalized in Florida, USA. This experience gave us a clear view of the problems that hospitals deal with and how technology can step in to ease the situation.
Matías had to be moved from the trauma ward to the intensive care unit, and something went wrong. The people supposed to handle the transfer didn’t show up, which caused a lot of stress and delayed Matías’ treatment. Marcelo realized that our technology, which tracks personnel, could have made a big difference here, making sure help arrives when it’s needed most.
Then came another issue when Matías was ready to leave the intensive care unit for a regular room. Once again, there weren’t enough staff available, causing more delays. This highlighted the need for a lasting solution. Nowadays, we can use real-time data to know when healthcare staff is available, which could prevent these frustrating delays.
